Conditions of Carriage

Understanding our commitment and your responsibilities as a sender. These terms apply to all domestic and international shipments.

2.0 Packaging & Labeling

It is the Sender’s responsibility to ensure that:

  • • Goods are packed to withstand a 1.5m drop and normal sorting machinery handling.
  • • Labels are clear, attached to a flat surface, and barcodes are not obscured.
  • • For Satchel Services, the contents must not exceed the weight limit indicated on the satchel.

3.0 Liability & Limited Warranty

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Express Genie Logistics is not a Common Carrier and accepts no liability as such.

  • • Standard liability is capped at $100 per consignment.
  • • We do not cover consequential loss or loss of market value.
  • • Claims must be lodged within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date.

4.0 Delivery Attempts

A "Signature on Delivery" is required unless "Authority to Leave" (ATL) is selected. If the recipient is not home, the parcel may be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent point. Redelivery fees may apply for a second house-call attempt.

5.0 Specialized Vault Handling

Goods transported under our Vault System tier are subject to:

GPS Custody

End-to-end electronic chain of custody recorded at every transition.

Restricted Access

Only authorized Level-1 Genie Agents may handle Vault-coded cargo.
